Principal/CEOFran Jemmott has been a leader and change maker on local and national issues including civil rights; social and child welfare; and public health with a focus on community and women’s health. She has four decades of experience with cutting-edge program development and large-scale training for federal, state and local organizations. These experiences, at the nexus of policy and systems reform and community improvements, continue to inform and shape her work. She is a Senior Fellow of the UCLA Luskin School for 2013- 2014, a member of President’s Community Advisory Council (PCAC) at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science, recipient of the Humanitarian Award from Peace Over Violence and the 2016 recipient of the Founder’s Award of the Liberty Hill Foundation.
Her experiences in organized philanthropy include grantmaking, program development and management. At The California Wellness Foundation (1996-2003) she served as a Senior Program Officer and Program Director in Community Health and Women’s Health. She served as a trustee of Liberty Hill Foundation (1998 – 2010)
As CEO of Jemmott Rollins Group, she leads the firm’s work for private, corporate and community foundations often in the role of thought partner on issues impact, scale, cultural competence, strategic partnerships, and problem solving. Her focus on capacity building to fortify structural supports for non-profits is at the center of her current work.
